May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and Intrepid Direct would like to remind your drivers to Share The Road!
Startling statistics
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) research finds motorcyclists are 27 times more likely to die in a crash than other motorists. The number of motorcycle fatalities has steadily grown over the last three years. NHTSA-funded research tells us that drivers of passenger vehicles are distracted more than 50 percent of the time. Imagine the percentage of just those who are delivering food when attention can all too easily shift from the road!
